The Obi-Wan Kenobi Teaser Trailer

In the teaser for the upcoming series Obi-Wan Kenobi, we finally get a look at Ewan McGregor as the Jedi master in his self-exile on Tatooine. The generation that loved the Star Wars prequels are beside themselves with nostalgic excitement to see what happened to Obi-Wan and the infant Luke Skywalker after Vader and his forces broke up the Jedi council and slaughtered the younglings. From this teaser, it is apparent that the Emperor didn't just forget about the few Jedi that escaped- he sent his forces searching for them, making Obi-Wan's job all that much more dangerous. The epic nature of this teaser makes it clear that the entire franchise is riding on the success of this series. The six-episode miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on May 25 on Disney+.
