Death Scent: The Rotting Zombie Cologne

When the zombie apocalypse comes, it will be important to hide your living human smell. In The Walking Dead, people rotting flesh on their bodies to mask their scent. It only works until the rain starts. Michonne walked among zombies by surrounding herself with jawless zombies, which is not always feasible. What’s a doomsday prepper to do?  

Science comes to the rescue! Chemist and zombie film buff Raychelle Burks has developed Death Scent, a cologne that mimics the smell of rotting flesh. She explains the chemistry behind this abomination in a video from the American Chemical Society. (via Daily of the Day)
