In the 1925 film Seven Chances, Buster Keaton spends almost four minutes running for his life from an avalanche of boulders. Much funnier than it sounds. You can see the entire movie here. (via Metafilter)

It is classic comedy at the end when he dodges all these huge boulders, then a little one knocks him down.
Buster Keaton was so gonzo. Even if the rocks are just paper mache, he had to have come out of that scene battered and bruised.
