Jimmy Stewart stars in one of Alfred Hitchcock's best films. The 1954 film Rear Window revolves around an apartment building in which a man is confined with a broken leg, and since it's so hot, everyone has their windows open. He's got nothing better to do than watch the neighbors as they go about their business, but some display mysterious and nefarious behavior. It's an unfolding mystery with danger at every turn.
