Well, that may be what happened, but still, they were able to spell 'pekingese' correctly. We need to stop making excuses for stupidity – or more likely in this case, just plain laziness. How long would it have taken to look up the correct spelling?
And I think it is lucky they didn't write Daihatsu, because Daihatsu are all being recalled and the factories where they're made closed down for a month.
