I didn't understand who these creatures were at first, but even so I was charmed by the message of the comic. Life is best when you focus on the good things, even the smallest of them. Then I looked it up and found that these are gnolls, a human-hyena hybrid created for Dungeons & Dragons, but are also a part of the video games Warcraft and Pathfinder.
