Historically, average life span is a factor of child mortality. If you survived to adulthood, you could easily make it to old age. The article goes into the documented infirmities of the aged.

I don’t think he’s stupid, likely most everyone he hangs with is constantly repeating one conspiracy story after another so he’s thoroughly indoctrinated (brainwashed) to imagine how everything he sees can be twisted to one of the theories.

Even conferring with other doctors it’s still hearsay and opinions. Anyone termed a medical expert is limited to what’s known at the time. Build a time machine to go back and tell these guys about germs, bacteria, x-rays and watch their heads explode.
