Children love chicken nuggets because they are delicious, bland, boneless, easy to chew, and altogether don't ask much of the person eating them. You even occasionally hear of a school age child that won't eat anything else. But why are chicken nuggets so ubiquitous and so coveted? For the answer to that, we need to go through the history of these super-processed protein blobs. The original idea was to make portions easier to divide (no more fighting over who gets the breast or leg), and how to use every bit of a chicken so it doesn't go to waste. But the chicken nugget didn't really catch on until McDonald's got involved. McNuggets were so popular, they even came up with a new breed of chicken to make them.

13 minutes ? TL/DR ... chickened out
Also, ignorance is bliss.
Trained myself to not think of chicken when I read or hear chicken as a food flavour, truly conned myself into thinking that chicken comes from a collection of spices and herbs (erbs) and not from a terrified animal that wants to go on living.
The cats that live here have another story.
