Anna took her mom to Washington Square Park in New York to play some chess. The hustler they met laid out his entire strategy in giving her tips. John was being nice to a little old lady. What he doesn't know is that mom is professional chess player and grandmaster Pia Cramling. That makes it all the more satisfying when she checkmates him before he's even got his men out, but he takes it pretty well.

It's such a lovely video and his reaction of delight at finding he'd been playing a grandmaster all along was wonderful. Many people, especially men, would have had a hard time taking that.
