Last week, The Beatles won a Grammy award more than 50 years after the band broke up. The award was for Best Music Video, for the song "I'm Only Sleeping," from their 1966 album Revolver (although it was initially on the album Yesterday and Today in the US and Canada, and differed slightly from the UK single).
The music video was created by artist Em Cooper to coincide with the release of the remastered Revolver. Cooper uses stop-motion animation on oil paintings. For this video, she photographed around 1300 oil paintings. The project took months of work, but it paid off well with a Grammy. (via Everlasting Blort)
