The New York Times published a recipe for Sticky Coconut Chicken and Rice last year, and got 800 comments, almost all about how to improve this bland dish. Substitute something, double the spices, add hot sauce, etc, etc. (via Nag on the Lake)

My family's allergic but I thought I'd give it a go. It was terrible. Would not make this again, would not recommend.

I swapped the chicken out for parrot, and added spaghetti.
