I pass through Centralia about twice a year on the way to Knoebels for family reunions. Last year there were two homes still occupied in the town. Many of the roads are blocked by jersey barriers, but you can park and walk around. Graffiti is everywhere. Interesting place if you are in the area. Also visit Whistler's Mother in Ashland, PA., just a couple of miles south.
I suppose Hippos would make rodeos more interesting. Probably need a lot of replacement clowns... and sawdust to soak up the mess.
