La Verne Wimberly rocks! Also enjoyed the articles on Cally Gingrich's selfies and Peeps in Space. I remember seeing the Switched Babies story on CBC news when it was discovered. There was another case in Manitoba too where at least two indigenous babies were switched at birth in a northern hospital.
Well, to all my peeps on Miss Cellania,
I’d like to wish a Happy Easter. And
to the Grand Lady herself, a real
peep-le person, wishing you peeps and
happiness this Easter! And no,
throwing them in the garbage is not
the best way to eat peeps.
The same to those who may be
observing Passover. Don’t be
schvitzin - it’s kinda like Easter,
just without the bunny, bonnets,
colored eggs, or New Testament.
And probably the peeps.
And if you’re not celebrating a
religious event but still looking
to forward to a family gathering
this weekend, maybe the first in
quite a while; may it be less
awkward than that of the British Royal
family’s.
When you’re born you don’t know your family or parents despite the fabled mother~baby connection. The relationship with parents, siblings, and kinfolk, develops over time. Mutual affection and reciprocal kindness create a bond we call family. While switched at birth is unfortunate I don’t see it as a great tragedy. That’s like saying adopted children don’t really belong to a family, which is clearly bullshit. Love the ones you’re with.
That said, I wonder if the same time and hospital where I was born delivered any babies from a wealthy family?
re: Cally Gingrich's pics: not one pic shows how incredibly fat Newt is. I saw him in person about 2 years ago and I wondered how he deals with such a hug beer belly. I hope he's lost some of it.
