This collaborative performance between the Leningrad Cowboys and the Red Army Choir took place in 1993 at Helsinki’s Senate Square to celebrate the end of the Cold War. (Thanks, Rick in Seattle!)

Of all the concerts ever performed, this is the one I most wish I had been at. I lived in Helsinki a couple of years later, and had friends who'd been in the audience. There was still such a thrilling feeling of optimism in the air. Those were the days, my friend.
