A newbie on the job enters a diner and finds a nightmare. This is pretty horrifying for a cartoon. Cartoonist Gahan Wilson's first animated short from 1992 was shown in theaters before Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and remains in the consciousness of anyone who saw it.
