Lol. While we're here ... do you call your mobile phone an electric phone ? How about your vibrating toothbrush ? Your torch, is it an electric torch ? Yeah, nah, those cars are battery cars, powered by batteries, batteries charged by electricity, electricity provided in the most part by burning coal to heat water to steam that is then used to spin turbines (Americans call them turbins) which pass coiled metal past fixed magnets and that generates electricity. In my country our electricity is generated 60% by dammed water, 25 % by geothermal (look it up) and the rest is by gas or coal. Clean green a little bit. Then again, we had ice ages and now we haven't, the sun goes through stages of putting out more energy, us humans cause climate change about 0.0005%. Keep buying V8s, you will be happier.
