OMG, Cathy Fink and Marcie Marxer! I was a HUGE fan of theirs in the 80s and 90s. Cathy Fink (although an American) lived in Winnipeg in the 70s and was a big part of our folk scene there. Then she went back to the US, ultimately teaming up with Marcie Marxer. They were extremely popular in (of all places) Japan, so it's not really surprising to see them collaborating with an Asian musician.
Thanks for posting this recent video so now I know they're still making their music! I was just thinking of them not too long ago, wondering what they were up to now.
