I'm struck by how the social media scramble to originate new terms for things we already have words is so similar to what people in academia do in their tedious writing. At least the tik-tokkers coinages are pithy.

I think most postings on social media like Tikky-Takky, Twatter, and Instantgraham are thitty, not pithy.

The Iron Claw surprised me that he would encourage his boys to become wrestlers.
Maybe I misunderstood and he tried to discourage but decided to support their choice.
However, I'm sure the glory/popularity was pumped into their growing up.
