That bit of satellite took a long time to fall.
Your report shows it reentered the atmosphere on 5/6/1960 and was found two years later.
I'm not a mother, although I've been called that a few times, but it seems to me when you get married or form a partnership you are planning to willingly share part of your life with another.
But having a kid means dedicating your entire existence, every waking moment(and damn few won't be waking) to the service of that kid. Protect from all threats including itself, nurture, and edumacate.
When you meet obnoxious people in life you can walk away. If your kid is obnoxious you not only can't walk, you get blamed.
So it looks to me like a no win proposition, why do it, hormones, tradition, a chance to show you can do a better job than your mother?
Just keep your whippersnappers offa my lawn.
