There's nothing wrong, and I didn't do it.

Also, we are out of butter.

Hmmm.. For whatever reason, Maine has no Girl Scout cookie issue because unlike the rest of New England, we use "The Other" baker. For whatever reason they also refuse to call a Samoa a Samoa, but at least I don't have to deal with the whole Do-si-do Tagalong thing. The raspberry cookies are just OK. Raspberry is an expensive flavor so one shouldn't expect too much. Definitely not for 40 bucks - yikes!

Awhile ago I got a loaf of dollar store bread to use for hotdog buns, did that, and had most of the bread left over, so I put it in the cupboard and forgot about it. Two weeks later I left for work, was away almost a month, and when I got back Juanita had found it and put it in the freezer. It's a week after that. Last night I was hungry and it was too late to walk to the store, so I got the bread out and made a stack of toast and butter with garlic and cayenne pepper. Pretty good. Regular expensive bread will not act like that. And there's still lots left.

I'm thinking about getting some cheese and pickles from the same place to make toasted cheese sandwiches with this immortal endless bread. How did I overlook the dollar store all these years as a source of late-night food? I have been a snob.

Also their pads of paper for children's projects are made of paper from India, which Juanita tells me is especially good for calligraphy.

Marco, that's the case for almost all grocery store mass-produced sliced bread. Lots of preservatives.

My grandmother always insisted that you had to have stale bread for the family turkey dressing recipe, but I couldn't get my cheap sandwich bread to go stale for the life of me. Turns out it really doesn't make a difference for that recipe.

Anti-Trans Laws: trying to keep minors from doing permanent damage to themselves--just like many countries have done.

Do kids really understand what will happen when taking trans pills and/or having trans surgery? Becoming sterile, not able to orgasm, top surgery = double mastectomy, and voice changes; these are just some of the permanent results.

Kids that think they are the wrong sex need to have valid therapy to determine the real issues they are struggling with.

But no one is doing those things now on minors. Standard care is a psychological workup, counseling, and puberty blockers. Some programs start older teens on hormones if they've been in the program for years. Surgery comes in adulthood.

Kids should be stopped from doing all the things that absolutely none of them are doing.
