The day is rapidly coming when AI will finally be debugged enough that it will have overcome its current shortcomings, with the end result that someone can use an AI program to create a believable picture of literally anything of sufficient quality to convince anyone. At that point pictures will have been devalued from a thousand words to pure and total cow flop, "pictures or it didn't happen" will become completely irrelevant, and the only thing a person will be able to believe is whatever he or she has seen with their own two eyes.

I agree BB, except even seeing with my own eyes can be questionable with all the visual tricks that can be foisted on us.
