Wasn't a Donkey Kong player but I grew up with Popeye cartoons :) I Still enjoy watching cartoons from that era.

The cartoons from that era were fast moving and straight forward simple because they were just for entertainment and not trying to set a good example or teach kids anything.

The poor Greater Sac-Winged Bat suffers that routine daily because he doesn't have a family to give him Old Spice at Christmas.
