Lessons from Her Grandmother

This sweet story really touched me. Princess recently inherited her grandmother's Betty Crocker cookbook from the 1970s. She can easily find the recipes the family made most often because those pages are stained and wrinkled. She had wanted mine for a long time for just that reason. Mom and I had the same volume, given to us after the house burned, and since then, we had both made the old family favorites. Maybe someday I will give mine to a grandchild who feels the same way.
