Originally released on the 1974 album Court and Spark, Joni Mitchell wrote "Free Man in Paris" about record producer David Geffen. I was 15 when this was charting, and while I knew the words, they didn't really mean anything to me. I just loved the tune. This performance was recorded in 1983.
