Let me update you on what I've been doing lately. Neatorama has expanded and spun off a half dozen new sites! In my 15 years with Neatorama, Alex has experimented with the blogging form quite a bit, and now he's developed a stripped-down, visually enticing platform to specialize content somewhat. You can see a ton of post links with thumbnails and headlines without having to scroll past what you aren't interested in, yet you can scroll down to see plenty more. Check these out:
Pictojam is for science and tech stories, with some fun stuff thrown in for good measure.
Homes and Hues is all about the home. You'll find posts covering architecture, home decor, real estate, tips, and gadgets.
Supa Fluffy is about animals, whether they are fluffy or not.
Pop Culturista covers movies, TV, music, video games, comics, toys, and anything to do with pop culture.
Laughosaurus is all comedy.
Infinite 1UP is for video games and gaming culture. I haven't posted there yet because I know squat about video game culture, but other contributors do.
The sites are pretty simple- there are no ads and no comments. Just good stuff to check out! There is no search function yet, but you can use the hashtags in a post to find other content on the same subject. Bookmark the sites you like, or you can access them from the sidebar here (Where to find Miss C) any time. There may be other specialty sites coming soon.
Update: Now I have finally posted something at Infinite 1UP.

Of course not! This is MY site. I just work for Neatorama and the others.
Yeah, those Neatorama sites are peripheral, the Miss C site is the holy grail.
