Happy birthday, Miss, and congratulations on the cake. The closest thing to baking I've ever done is blueberry muffins from a box, and I managed to screw that up. They say cooking is art but baking is science.
I just looked up songs about cake and was reminded of all kinds of interesting things, including, of course, the band Cake. There's a catchy song from like 2014 by DNCE called Eating Cake On The Beach.

There was a surprisingly large and black chocolate cake in the dollar store yesterday and I almost took a chance on it, but in the past the only baked anything there that didn't make me sorry afterward were chocolate covered graham crackers and hotdog buns, so.
