Simon's Cat in Polished Paws

Simon Tofield must be doing pretty well with his Simon's Cat series. His earlier cartoons showed a really run-down bachelor pad. Now he has a nice new dining room table. Simon has freshly waxed and polished it, which makes a problem for the cat. His claws can't hold him in place, but they do a real number on the table! That's life with cats. The dream of gracious living with leather chairs and lace curtains don't match the reality of being a cat person. Don't bother asking me how I know.
