The Earth is Beautiful
NASA released some ultra-high definition footage taken from the ISS as it orbits earth. with special emphasis on the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis, seen from above. The sequence is not only beautiful, but soothing. See: city lights, lightning strikes, the auroras, moonset, swirling clouds, and beautiful stars. You should watch it in full-screen mode. (via Digg)

What an amazing time to be alive!
I think it said Aurora Borealis, I wonder if they have some Aurora Australis.
The Borealis can show great colors but is primarily green. The few pictures I've seen of the Australis were more colors.
