World’s Laziest Cats
You’ve heard it said that a hardworking person will get the job done, while a lazy person will find an easier way to do it. These cats would like a drink of water, but it’s not worth the effort to actually stand up on all fours to get it. Cleverness enables laziness, so they’ve figured out a way to have a drink while lying down. (via Tastefully Offensive)

i just read that cats will drink water off their paws if their water level is too low and their bowl is narrow enough to cause "whisker stress". they can't keep their wiskers from brushing up against the side of the bowl which irritates them so they'll dip their paws!
I have a cat that will do this with my coffee if I leave the cup unattended. She's definitely not a lazy cat, just has a thing for caffeine out of my cup and will work quite hard to get at it. I'm not into kitty kooties in my java so she's seldom successful. Can't imagine how not lazy she'd be jumped up on go juice!
I always wondered if they were drinking or washing their "hands"?
