What's Wrong With This Picture?

This image popped up at Facebook with dozens of unrelated celebrity tags, and collected seemingly hundreds of comments from people admiring the family and thanking them for their service. Those comments were followed by others who looked at it a bit more closely. Such an impossibly attractive family needs to be examined.

Does the baby on the left have two right arms? One seems to be extra-long while the other has been amputated. Which baby's butt is below mom's arm? Dad's right arm has a detachable hand, and his left arm has at least two hands. And how many hands are there behind mom? They all have an unusual number of fingers, as does the right twin. The babies also have an awful lot of teeth for their age. Military personnel noticed a number of problems with the uniforms. Have I missed anything else?

What's even more concerning is that so many of the comments that took the picture seriously have replies from people wanting to be added as friends, which is a dead giveaway of scammers. The comments calling out AI do not have such replies. They know how to find the gullible. (Thanks, Brother Bill!)

Thanks for nothing, AI.   Thanks to apps and programs like Photoshop or filters on smartphones, gone already are the days when seeing was believing, or when one could toss out the old taunt about "pictures, or it didn't happen".   I'm just waiting for the time in the not-too-distant future when AI will have been able to resolve the current issues with the programs' renderings so that there ARE the proper number and placement of hands, finger, arms, and legs, and they WILL finally be able to do text as more than merely an assortment of random, incoherent letters and symbols.   And once we reach THAT point, NOTHING in pictures or text will ever be believable again.

Obviously fake, as the children aren't armed.

The eeriest thing about this photo is the way it pastes the heads of children over the age of four onto infant bodies. Brrr.

If you don't have 6 fingers you don't belong in the brave new world.
