I can explain. The screensaver on a DVD player featured that rectangle logo bouncing from corner to corner. Many people recall watching that. This guy recreated that familiar scene in butter.
I do recognize the logo, but the bounce around part went completely over my head. I never had a standalone DVD player, always just used my Playstation. Thanx, clueing me changes my takeaway from "pointless" to "amusing".
