The band Faces was a re-group of Small Faces that launched in 1969. The lineup was Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan, and Kenny Jones. In this 1971 clip from the BBC, they perform their hit song "Stay With Me." This brings back so many memories.

Rod Stewart killed seven people swinging the mic stand around in this performance alone.

My parents are less than 5 years older than Rod Stewart. My sisters and I went to see him in concert in the mid 80s, so he was in his 40s. And we were laughing about, "Can you picture Daddy in spandex?"
Now as I'm staring down 60, no doubt the kids are saying stuff like that about us. Ouch.
