Not to give the health-care cartel a free pass here, but maybe, JUST maybe, the lower US life expectancy may have something to do with our own self-destructive habits like smoking, drinking, recreational drug usage, driving, overeating, and playing with guns.
(and just plain stupidity over things like vaccines)

While I agree that this is an important problem for America, I think it's a little disingenuous to show the data adjusted for PPP.
You notice how, until Reagan deregulated health care in the 1980's, we were on the same trajectory as other countries.
