Clear as Mud

Even people who could keep up with the confusing names don't know which direction is north in an unfamiliar part of town. (via Bad Newspaper)

I actually live in the general area this is talking about. If you actually tried to do this without being familiar with the area, you'd fall off the edge of the world and get eaten by dragons. We also have a Southwest Taylors Ferry Road, a Southwest Boones Ferry Road, and a Lower Boones Ferry Road. There are some cases where XXX Avenue and XXX Place are two different streets. I've tried to get home by Uber three times while I was living where I am now, and they got lost every time. If the Russians ever invade, we won't need to take down all the road signs like the Ukrainians are doing. It would be more confusing to leave them up.

Wilmington, Ohio, has a street that runs north/south called South Street, so they have addresses on North South St. and South South St.
