Found a reddit thread, a surprising number of people have similar signs at work:
• Fish and popcorn are prohibited in microwave 1, as anyone heating anything else doesn't want their food to smell/taste of fish or popcorn. Microwave 2 may be used for fish and/or popcorn.
• Built-in microwave was pre-existing, and a counter-height microwave was added for accessibility when employees who use wheelchairs joined.
• Kosher vs non-kosher use
• Both Kosher, one is the 'meat' microwave, and one is the 'milk' microwave
• Influential person 1 insists that the one with the 'one touch sensor reheat' button must be retained, influential person 2 insists that the one with the "Potato" button must be retained.
