Believe it or not, this picture was taken this morning at the Waterloo train station on London. A friend of redditor Raimon86 snapped it on the way to work. Others assure us that the same scene is happening all over Britain, as they commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.THe battle lasted for months, and over a million soldiers were killed.

This was absolutely brilliant. Many people did not understand what it was all about, but once it was explained a great several were reduced to tears.
