Why do people still have doubts that the moon landing really happened? Mostly because it was such an amazing accomplishment. And because so many people are too young to remember it. The internet feeds conspiracy theories about everything being either fake or controlled behind the scenes. The truth is that we had the technology to go to the moon in 1969, but we didn’t have the technology necessary to fake it. (Thanks, Ricky Sans!)

Personally, I think there should be a monument for the 400,000 people who helped fake the moon landing and have kept their mouths shut about it for over 50 years.
Personally, I think anyone who still believes the moon landing was faked should just shut the heck up.
Seriously ... if the moon landing was faked, where did those radio transmissions come from? The Nevada desert, or a soundstage in Hollywood? And if they HAD come from somewhere on earth rather than the moon, don't you think that the Russians – who were undoubtedly monitoring all this – would have been able to tell (determining location or a transmitter by triangulating on a radio signal is not some new, arcane science, y'know) and would have been screaming "IT'S A FAKE!!" from the highest tower in the Kremlin at the top of their lungs?
But they didn't, because they too knew that the broadcasts and telemetry were coming from the moon.

Frickin Russians. They were in on it too? I should have known. Makes sense though given their expertise in planting laptops and such.
