Laurence Brown of Lost in the Pond recalls discovering the many small ways that the British internet experience differs from that of Americans. As an experiment, he orders groceries from Target in the US and Asda in the UK to compare the experiences. The differences are most notable in weights and measurements, common language terms, and currency, but also in the weird idea of having chips, er, crisps, delivered to the US from Britain.
