I spent lots of pieces of prettily coloured paper buying a white leather sofa and chaise lounge (is that how you spell it ?) ... just to dress up for sale a house I had built.
I have a red leather couch and chair, and four cats. When I got the couch, I had four children in the house, too. And a dog. It definitely has that lived-in look.
