The Medicaid Gap

John Oliver explains what happened with Obamacare that left so many people without any health insurance at all. It wasn’t the Affordable Care Act that caused that. It was Republican governors. Kentucky (a red state) was just lucky to have a Democratic governor when the Act went into effect. Tomorrow, Kentucky will elect a new governor and decide whether we want to keep everyone covered or not. I am lucky enough to get a subsidy and not fall into the possible “gap,” but even the subsidies are at risk in this election.
