Journey to the Center of Time

Journey to the Center of Time is a 1967 movie about time travel (duh). A group of scientists take off in a time machine before it's perfected, lest they lose their grant money. First they go into the future, then the past, but they don't have control over where they will end up. That causes some strange twists in the story. Reviews of the movie say it's pretty badly made, but still a good time, and that's what counts. (Thanks, WTM!)

That is just silly, if you shift in time you also have to shift in space, literally, so as to ensure you land back on the planet, because the Earth is moving faster than one of those magnetically levitated trains in Japan, and so if you, say, go back to the mid fifties (because of the cars and the girls in voluminous skirts and bobby socks ... or was that just American Graffiti ?) you'll end up on a different part of the spinning cylinder orbit thingie, and POOF you'll expand so fast that you will become space gloop, which is the big sister to that actress's stuff that smells like her pubic area (didn't want to sound rude by saying vagina).
They need to invent a time machine that is attached to our planet by strong titanium laced steel cables, I tell ya, there is nothing worse than going to see actual real dinosaurs and all of a sudden you just evaporate.
