Every year, the industry board Australian Lamb releases a new ad ahead of Australia Day on January 26. The annuals videos are notoriously clever. This year's ad literally illustrates the great chasm between Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Zoomers (or Gen Zed in Australian). All possible stereotypes are included, from Boomers buying houses to Millennials trying to stay cool to Gen Z and their constant screen time to Gen X getting short shrift from the media. But there's one thing that can heal the gap and bring all Australians together again. While these stereotypes are mostly clear across the English-speaking world, one part may need a bit of explanation for Americans.
