At the gallery, each image has a link to the story behind it. Most were "I camped out in the swamp and dived all day for two weeks, taking thousands of pictures before I was lucky enough to catch this image."
You can't plan nature pictures, but you can sure put in a lot of work to get them.
I read several of the descriptions. For sure hours watching and waiting the the perfect picture that appears like a bug hitting the windshield. Waiting for hours doesn't help if you're not primed at the right moment. Don't yawn, sneeze or check the time. LoL
