You should have seen that one coming. This also applies to dogs and toddlers, who really own the home, no matter whose name is on the mortgage. The only consolation is that cats, dogs, and toddlers are highly unlikely to laugh when they tell the rest of the family what they've seen in your most private moments. Cats and dogs maybe but toddlers have a habit of blurting off the wall comments at any time. Especially when there are guests and more than one conversation going on.

You're right, of course. I was picturing my 15-month-old grandson who walks but does not talk yet. He was here last week, and it was a whole new/old world seeing him getting into everything and trying so hard to learn everything at once.
