How Lame is this Chase Scene?

Since we're still on a holiday weekend, let's have some light nostalgia with a heavy dose of snark. It really wasn't all that long ago that cable TV channels would run marathons of a single show over the New Year holiday, and one favorite was Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Comedy Central. In this 1993 clip from the series, Tom Servo, Crow, and Joel re-watch the 1975 film Mitchell, in which Joe Don Baker played a detective who breaks the rules. Except he really doesn't, as uses his turn signals while taking evasive action in this chase scene. Movie chase scenes have come a long way since then. (via Jalopnik)
