Enjoy one of Busby Berkeley's elaborate production numbers, featuring his signature geometric overhead shots. This one is a water ballet in an Art Deco pool, culminating in a "human waterfall," although it's literally a fountain. It's from the 1933 movie Footlight Parade. (via Strange Company)

That's just amazing, so many people doing exactly what they are supposed to when they are supposed to. I wonder how many times they cut/spliced that footage.

Love this! We've got this movie (and several other Berkley-choreographed films) on DVD and get it out every couple of years to marvel at it.
