For me, both plural and singular of octopus is /octopockles/, since Pogo, as in, /HALP! Octopockles got me!/ when a baby one is on Albert's head. Deer visible from the road are dumbies, pronounced DUM-bees. Horses visible from the road are hoses.
Also, I don't mean to be picky but the pie is Cthulhu.
I think this is a Cthulu. But what's the plural of Cthulu? Cthulu. Cthulus. Cthulugies. Cthuluians. Cthuluites. Cthului. Cthulodes. OMG humanity is doomed with just one?

Since the word 'octupus' is actually from the Greek 'oktōpous', not Latin, the correct plural should be 'octopodes'.
