Chicken in a Snowstorm

David Neal was a weatherman in Tennessee when he met a bird that would change his life. One day, in a snowstorm, he saw a chicken that hadn't made it to the coop before the storm hit. He had to catch her before she froze to death. David never found out where the chicken came from, but she found the perfect home with David and Sharon. They named the chicken Penelope, fattened her up a bit, and made her a part of the family. The pampered poultry pet follows David around like a puppy, and goes on adventures with him. Penny showed up at just the right time in David's life, and has become very important to him.
