Back in August, police raided the house of rapper Afroman. He had plenty of security cameras to capture the footage, at least before the police disconnected them. That footage got turned into a song that tells the tale of the raid. Nothing was found, the charges were dropped, but the cops kept some cash they found, and the house sustained damage. Afroman tells the story in an interview. You might also want to hear the song about his mother's "Lemon Pound Cake" referenced in the story. The tune is "Under the Boardwalk." (via Metafilter)

Afroman likes tall cans.
That story should make me angry.
But I've heard/read the same or very similar stories over and over, I think I'm numb.
Well, he got his money back, though it was short $400. That is being investigated by the Ohio State Police. No charges were ever filed, but they said "trace amounts" of marijuana were found in his home.
Marijuana in someone's home in 2022? Shocking!
