Renfield

Sometimes it's not so easy to get out of a toxic relationship with your boss. The upcoming movie Renfield brings Dracula into the 21st century. The film revolves around Renfield, Count Dracula's assistant, who contemplates leaving the vampire's employment after hundreds of years of loyal service when he falls in love. Who came up with that idea? It was Robert Kirkman, the comic book writer who gave us The Walking Dead. Renfield is a comedy as well as a horror movie, with Nicolas Cage playing the role he was born for- the powerful but anachronistic vampire Dracula. Nicholas Hoult is Renfield, and Awkwafina is the traffic cop he falls for. Renfield opens at a theater near you on April 14.
